Our Understanding of Colour: Colours of Nature
Our Colour Finder is the result of decades of research and development. Inspired by the colours of nature and based on the Natural Colour System (NCS), we have created a palette of 110 finely tuned shades – divided into two colour worlds, Terra and Mineral, each available in five intensity levels.
Whether for floors, walls, or furniture, our colour formulations are universally applicable and can even be precisely matched to existing interior concepts using the Colour Pin tool.

Together with Freifrau: Ivy by Sebastian Herkner
A special milestone is our collaboration with Freifrau and designer Sebastian Herkner on the new Ivy chair family. For the first time at Freifrau, the collection features a visibly worked wooden shell – a perfect surface for us to bring our colours to life.
By combining form, material, and colour, the furniture pieces gain depth, character, and natural elegance. Each Ivy chair can be custom-made in one of our colour shades, allowing maximum design freedom and a new approach to “colour matching” in interior design.
Sebastian Herkner, designer of the Ivy chair, adds:

Our philosophy is reflected in our collaboration with Janua as well: authentic materials, crafted to perfection, and reimagined through colour. Together, we have reinterpreted three of their distinctive series:
- T-Rox: Wood meets stone – with colour-matched surfaces creating exciting yet harmonious contrasts.
- Basket®: A sideboard and high table with cleaner lines, gaining depth through our colours.
- BC 05 Stomp®: Small tables with big impact, thanks to individualized colour accents.
